2011 Welcome
To all returning members and to all new members; we extend a hearty welcome to the 2011 golf season at Coyote Creek Golf Club.
The momentum we have built over the past four years is snowballing. The shareholder group started last fall has grown to 27 members. The Board of Directors supported by the shareholders and an active, supportive membership has developed a strategic direction that includes significant immediate improvements as well as an exciting long term vision. The current improvements include a practice range renovation and an upgraded Food and Beverage service. We completed last fall a tree removal, transplant, and addition project. We will also finish ahead of schedule on the three year bunker renovation project as we have just two more to complete. All of that will equal the largest annual capital improvement investment of our short history. We believe that these improvements will without doubt keep us well ahead of the field in our attempts to provide all members and guests with the greatest private golfing value in our area.
This year, we are joined by Bill Blumenherst as our General Manager and Director of Operations. Bill’s experience and expertise in the local golf community is well known. His enthusiasm and support of the direction of Coyote Creek matches that of the Board, the shareholders, and the membership. Bill will manage the Pro Shop staff and the Course Maintenance staff. He will also work with Kevin Booker to bring a new level of food and beverage service to all members and guests. All CCGC team members are looking forward to providing you with great course conditions, and a level of service that exceeds all expectations.
The schedule of member events looks as full and exciting as ever. The CCGC golf association is looking forward to the usual high level of participation in those events. You can see the schedule here.. The CCGC staff is working on a number of other events to sprinkle into the schedule. Five new couples events have been added and the very popular Thursday evening Member Challenge also returns.
Coyote Creek Golf Club does host outside outings as the opportunities arise. We generally limit outings to one per week and we try to keep most of them on Monday or Thursday. For the members, this occasional inconvenience helps avoid year end assessments and for those booking outings; it allows their organization to host on one of the best courses in the area. If you are interested in booking an outing; please contact Bill Blumenherst at the golf shop, 260-483-3148.
CCGC members, WELCOME BACK; new members WELCOME and prospective members; PLEASE join us for great golf and great comradarie.
